The method

How it works

01

Cryptographic randomness

The generator uses the Web Crypto API rather than predictable time-based or basic pseudo-random values.

02

Every selected type

At least one character from each selected set is included before the complete password is securely shuffled.

03

Local processing

The generated value stays in your browser. Kitalva does not transmit, log or store it.

Helpful answers

Frequently asked questions

Is the generated password sent to Kitalva?

No. Generation and copying happen in your browser, and the password is not sent to our servers.

How long should a password be?

Longer is generally stronger. A unique password of at least 14–16 random characters is a practical baseline for many accounts, subject to the service's own requirements.

Where should I store generated passwords?

Use a reputable password manager. Do not reuse the same password across different services.
